For seven years (before her marriage), Dorothy worked as a supervisor at Prim Hosiery Mill in Chester, checking workers and maintaining employee production records. Jean married James O. Johnson in January 1954 in Galesburg, Ill. and the couple raised four daughters, Jamie (Hester McCosh) Johnson Ziegler of Chillicothe, Ill., Janet (Duane Esarey) Johnson of Raleigh, N.C., Jennifer (Tony) Peach of Shiloh, and Julie (Chris Benjamin) Johnson of Marietta, Ga. She later married John Dolan in January 1980 welcoming a step-son J. Michael (Nancy) Dolan. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
